Joan, who has been part of the Zehno team for 15+ years, enjoys making organizations more creative, effective and profitable — whether they are businesses or nonprofits. Her passion for logistics sometimes strikes more artistic colleagues as odd, but it is a key part of Zehno’s ability to deliver for clients on time and on budget.
She loves helping people turn their goals into practical, achievable and profitable realities. She recently designed a communications workflow database, now in its pilot phase, that allows Zehno clients to record all communication with their various audiences — everything from a news email to a donor solicitation. Through our assessment of this data, clients will revolutionize how and when they communicate with their audiences.
Prior to Zehno, she helped manage operations for a range of businesses — a thoroughbred stable with 125 horses and a full staff, a beanbag factory startup, and manufacturing lines in the U.S that made products ranging from specialty gaming chairs to nursing home supplies.
When she finds time to relax, you’ll find her either at the beach on a standup paddleboard, with husband Bob and dogs in tow — or sitting by a campfire learning to play “Hey, Soul Sister” on her ukulele.
