Jurassic Park extra.
A multi-disciplined graphic designer, Erin brings experience developing creative for websites, branding, advertising and publications. She’s even served a stint as a set dresser for the film industry. This diversity has made Erin incredibly adaptable and able to design and build websites that get a wow.
Recognizing that usability is equally important to content editors as it is to site visitors, she works to find solutions that help staff keep the site running smoothly after launch. Erin rounds out her web expertise by coding websites using semantic markup and CSS-based layouts to maximize SEO and accessibility.
She loves being able to work on diverse projects, which has given her insight into how higher ed communications can work more effectively with different departments. She’s seen the most success when teams are more collaborative and drop the “that’s not my area” response for “how can I help?”
In her free time, Erin plans super budget vacations and squeezes in a little Patsy Cline karaoke when she can. She recently worked as an extra on Jurassic World, appearing as one of many tour guides devoured by rampaging dinos.
