Like a great New Orleans crawfish boil, Zehno’s staff is seasoned. You’ll work with some of the most creative people in the business and the most prestigious schools in the country. You’ll absorb the cultural mash-up of New Orleans: the birthplace of jazz inspiring new musicians, a people driven by historic traditions and Mardi Gras lifestyle, and foodies obsessed with the newest twists on Cajun cuisine in a city buzzing with entrepreneurial spirit.
After serving as award-winning art directors at Tulane University, Kathy Cain and Paulette Hurdlik founded Zehno in 1984. They created one of the first national cross-media firms specializing in higher education communication. That remains our focus today. The name Zehno is a zebra-rhinoceros mash-up — a hybrid animal that combines two different strengths to become something more powerful. It’s a perfect mascot for a firm engaged in all forms of marketing and communications.
