Yscloskey
Enjoy the scenic drive to Yscloskey, about 30 minutes from New Orleans. Board a sport fishing boat out to the open Gulf, watch the crab traps get unloaded on the dock and see how the area’s historic fishing villages are rebuilding after the hurricane. On your way, stop at the Los Isleños Heritage and Multicultural Park, 1357 Bayou Road, to explore the culture of the Canary Islands settlers who helped build the fishing trade.
